I have so many positive things to say about Mövenpick but the 3 things that really come to mind are 1) customer service: thank you to Yuga and all the front desk staff that assisted us on the day we arrived at 7am in the morning. Without going into too much detail, you all really made the start of our stay in Amsterdam truly special. I appreciate everything you did for me and my family. The hotel staff throughout the stay were simply wonderful and helpful. 2) Comfortable: room, beds, water pressure, amenities A+++. 3) Clean: rooms, eating areas, common area, bathrooms A+++. Tram 26 stops in front of hotel and can take you to and from AMS central and back. We chose to take 15-20 min walk most days. AMS central spit you right out into the city center and gave you access to metro, tram, bus, and railway to other parts of the Netherlands. We had a wonderful stay and I think we will really miss our room!

The room was very comfortable and quiet with lots of spaces to put your things and we had a great view of the waterway leading to the train station. We tried the breakfast one morning, the buffet was ample but we found the cost too high so chose to go elsewhere. This hotel caters to lots of tour groups so the elevators were very busy and the lobby crowded. Walking to restaurants generally took about 15 or 20 minutes. Walking to the central train station took about 20 minutes. There are taxis parked outside the hotel all the time. We choose to walk while we can. This hotel is right at the cruise port for both river cruises and ocean cruises so a great place to stay either before or after a cruise.

The hotel looks better than it does in picture. It is a big hotel but it feels more private than some other big hotels. The customer services was excellent. Special thanks to Prince who works at the bar on the ground floor. He went above and beyond, and was extremely kind to my kids. Thank you also to Taisiia at the front desk/reception; she changed my room immediately when i complained that the room they gave me and my kids was too high although I ended up staying in the room because the view was amazing. Taisiia asked if my kids had allergies and gave them a big bar of chocolate to munch on. All in all great experience.

Great location near the central station (10 min walking), amazing view of the room, Very nice and helpful staff, Clean hotel and room, Good breakfast with lots of sitting space, Comfortable bed and pillow, The normal parking of hotel is very expensive (51 euro/day) but ask the Staff for better option 20 euro/day via QR code, if that not working you can try the near parking (~300 m) outside the hotel. Free water, tea, and coffee in the room.

It’s a luxurious place to stay with all the amenities of a 4star hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. We took a little time to figure out the transport to the main city centre. You can take the tram opposite the hotel (use your cc to tap in and tap out) (or walk for 1.5 km) to the train station. Walk through to the back and you’re in town centre by walking 600 metres.
